Statistics was not my favorite class in high school... or college. One thing that stuck with me was that, statistically speaking, "correlation does not equal causation." Meaning that just because events appear to be related does not automatically mean that one caused the other.
For example: Since I started teaching, I have been ill more times per year. Therefore, teaching makes me sick.
Aside from being a corny play on words, my plan for this blog is to explore the random events of my life, and maybe tie them together in causal relationships that would make a statistician blush.
